Dear resident,
I hope this finds you well.
Postal votes are arriving in letterboxes across Chelsea & Fulham. Many residents have already voted and posted their ballot papers.
With Polling Day approaching fast, my re-election campaign across Chelsea & Fulham continues at pace.
Latest polling showed that I am just 1.3% ahead of Labour here in Chelsea & Fulham and I will need every vote to remain as your MP. The same poll shows that I might be the only non-Labour or LibDem MP anywhere in London.
So, a vote for me is also a vote for an effective opposition.
If my Labour opponent were to win - and he is only 1.3% behind - Chelsea & Fulham would have a Labour Government, a Labour Mayor, a Labour Council (in Fulham) and, from 4 July, a Labour MP as well. That is not a good scenario for our area.
Over the past few days, I have attended the unveiling of the Mary Quant mural on the King's Road, met many residents at the Ten Acres Street Party and was interviewed by ITV London for their profile of the Chelsea & Fulham constituency.
Don't forget to say hello when you see me out on the campaign trail - I am always happy to stop for a chat.
Best wishes,
Greg Hands
